ALAN TENAGLIA, MD, FACC, FSCAI 

Dr. Tenaglia is a graduate of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Economics and a graduate of the Washington University School of Medicine.  His Internal Medicine training was performed at Cornell Medical Center-New York Hospital.  He  completed his residency in General and Interventional cardiology at Duke University Medical Center.  He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Interventional Cardiology. 

After 10 years at Tulane University School of Medicine, where he was a tenured Associate Professor, he moved to private practice and has been with Scottsdale Cardiovascular Center since 2005.  

Dr. Tenaglia was the director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at Scottsdale Healthcare Osborn and is currently the director of the Cardiology Co-Management Program.  He is author of numerous medical journal articles and text book chapters relating to various aspects of cardiology.  He is a reviewer for many medical journals and serves on the editorial board of the American Heart Journal.   He continues to pursue his interest in complex cardiology problems as well as clinical research.
